About Our Project
My wife Anne and I are building a home in Bozeman, Montana. It’s an urban in-fill project on the south side of Main street on about a fifth of an acre (50×130 feet). Although it’s right downtown and is surrounded by other houses, nothing had ever been built on this lot. Here’s the lot before we started:
We hope to incorporate as many green and energy efficient elements into the house. This blog is to document our efforts.

My Wife and I are thinking of a white XMAS at Yellowstone but I

or
in /out Bozeman or in /out Jackson Hole ???
Great Idea about the laundry chute as this always perturbed us
whist living in a rental house whilst working in the USA’
Fire risk on the 2nd floor near the bedrooms and if something
leaks flood all over the 1st floor living areas .
